CHRY is a community-based campus station, broadcasting from York University in North York, Ontario.
Our mandate is to provide alternative programming, such as music not generally heard on commercial stations. We also provide in-depth spoken word programming and programming targeted to specific groups within the community.
Although students play an important role in programming, we also provide access to members of the community at large. CHRY also provides training in radio production to volunteers. CHRY 105.5 FM is an anti-racist, anti-sexist, and anti-homophobic organization.
