Andrew Lester (Roanoke River Basin Association), and Sarah Dunnavant (We the People of Virginia) tell the story of living in a place for their entire lives. It’s a story of a small town and the surrounding farms, schools and businesses facing the corporate threat of uranium mining upstream on a small river. This town passed an ordinance against contamination from chemical or nuclear trespass.
RRBA.org, WeThePeopleofVA.org, LOTG Radio, Richmond Independent Radio WRIR lp 97.3 FM and all the volunteers, especially Ahmad Karimi who engineered and produced this episode.l
