THis episode of the Global Research News Hour marks the tenth anniversary of the beginning of the Iraq War to oust Saddam Hussein from power with two interviews. The first features Richard Sanders, anti-war activist and coordinator of the Coalition Opposed to the Arms Trade. He explains in detail the many ways in which Canada, contrary to popular belief supported George W Bush's War in Iraq.

Later on we hear a comprehensive report from former UN Humanitarian Coordinator in IRaq Hans Von Sponeck about how conditions for Iraqis have deteriorated since the Gulf War of 1991, the sanctions and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He also draws a comparison with the recent overthrow of Colonel Ghaddafi in Libya.
