Omar Khadr was sent to Guantanamo Bay in 2002 when he was captured by US forces in Afghanistan. At the time he was only 15 years old. Khadr is a Canadian citizen and is the only Western citizen still at Guantanamo Bay. On January 29/2010 a Canadian Supreme Court ruling stated that Khadr's human rights were being violated and that Canada was an active participant in this violation, but did not insist that the Canadian government repatriate Khadr back to Canada. To speak about this recent decision and the case of Omar Khadr, we interviewed Ihsaan Gardee, the Executive Director of the Canadian Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-CAN)
