A North Vancouver man has died after he was shot recently when confronted by a police officer. The shooting death is currently under investigation, but it raises questions around police-involved deaths and deaths in custody. This topic was explored by a panel of international experts in Vancouver on January 21, 2010. Stark Raven Radio's Tiffany Chong interviews David MacAlister - one of the organizers of this public forum. He is a Criminology professor at Simon Fraser University and the Coordinator of BC Civil Liberties Associationâs Death In Custody Project.
