* Live phone interview with Kahntinehta, about the continuing resistance at Six Nations
Kahntinehta is an elder from Kahnawake, and a writer with Mohawk Nation News. In this live interview, Kahntinehta speaks about the historic events of January 1, 2007, when members of the Six Nations community at Grand River moved back into their old Confederacy Council house which dates back to 1864. The Confederacy Council was ousted in 1924 by the Canadian-government imposed colonial band council system. (22:21; English)
