Patrick was interviewed by Aaron Lakoff on December 27, 2006 for La Rage du Peuple. Patrick is a political rights activist and former Minister of the first government of President Jean-Bertrand Aristide (1991-96). Aaron spoke to Patrick from Port-au-Prince, in the aftermath of a pre-Christmas assault by UN troops on the impoverished neighbourhood of Cite Soleil. (17:48; English)

Jean is part of the Haitian diaspora in Canada, based in Ottawa. He is a community radio programmer, as well as a member of the Canada Haiti Action Network.
