Melissa Topping and Katie Sullivan, disabled women affected by new Barton Hill ‘Unliveable Cites’ scheme, join Tony and Martin. Melissa and Katie describe how the new ‘Liveable Cities’ LTN scheme has adversely affected their lives as disabled ladies, how there wasn’t adequate consultation prior to implementing it at 3am, and how buses just aren’t up to the job. Does Bristol Clean Air Zone work? Carbon trading. Capitalist vs government solutions to environmental problems. Melissa’s and Susan’s statement in Council about new ‘Liveable Cities’ scheme in Barton Hill. Scheme breaches Equality Act. ‘Locked in and blocked in’ by ‘unliveable neighbourhood’ – A Barton Hill resident claims that her independence has been taken away due to the new infrastructure installed around her home as part of the East Bristol Liveable Neighbourhood trial. Melissa Topping suffers from multiple disabilities which have severely affected her over the years. Since 2010, she has been using a wheelchair and mobility scooter to access areas that she cannot on foot. A keen traveller, Melissa, 55, often loads her wheelchair and mobility scooter in her customised van to visit areas that she would not be able to otherwise. Avonvale Road used to be the entry point for Melissa Topping’s van to reach her home at the other end of Victoria Avenue – photo: Karen Johnson A new bus gate on Avonvale Road, however, now limits Melissa’s access to her own home on Victoria Avenue. While other traffic could divert through Byron Street, Melissa says it is too risky for her large van to be driven through the narrow street as it could hit parked cars. On a recent morning, Melissa told Bristol24/7 that her van “is everything to me”. She said: “Being able to get away with a little bit of independence, even if that is just occasionally, that’s everything. That’s the only thing that’s brought me out of severe depression with being disabled.” Melissa claims that the new liveable neighbourhood infrastructure means that larger emergency service vehicles, or any trader with a larger van, cannot access several roads across Barton Hill, Redfield and St George. But Bristol City Council say “the whole area will be accessible by emergency services although some routes may change depending on the location of modal filters” and that their team “will continue to engage with emergency services on the detailed design of the trial scheme”. Bristol24/7 has seen photos of paramedics parking their ambulances and running to where they need to get to, then running back and forth to their vehicle to retrieve equipment. We have also been sent a message from one firefighter who lives within the EBLN trial area saying “the blocked off roads could actually impact response times where seconds/minutes are the difference between rescuing someone or not”. The firefighter added: “I appreciate we can go a different route (when we eventually understand all the closures), but the amount of traffic to navigate will slow the response time.” The council’s FAQs also say that trade and delivery vehicles “can still access the whole area by car although their route may change,” with the liveable neighbourhood aiming “to share space between everyone, while preserving car access”. In order to access Victoria Avenue in her van, Melissa now drives around to Church Road, passes through Cobden Street and then reverses into her parking space. Melissa says this longer route means she has to endure extra pain due to her disabilities. “I can’t get down the safe clear entrance that I would normally use,” Melissa said. “They’ve also got a locked metal pole halfway down because they know that Byron Street is not accessible by emergency vehicles. So they’ve left that so that other vehicles can use the streets further up, but of course I can’t. “The anxiety isn’t really needed on top of everything else if I’m honest. Life’s hard enough already. To have all these barriers put in our way, it is unfair. Especially without any consultation whatsoever with disability groups or elders in the area.” A consultation on the EBLN opened in January 2022, with Bristol City Council now starting to plan a second liveable neighbourhood trial in Southville, Bedminster, Ashton Vale, Malago Vale, Windmill Hill and part of Totterdown. Almost 6,000 people have now signed a petition to stop the EBLN trial, with Melissa saying she is not the only person in the area with a large vehicle who has to deal with the “maze” that has been created: “We are now locked in, blocked in with no services, no repairs to our houses, no scaffolding, nothing.”

Election for new WECA Metro Mayor. The candidates say why they would be good. Mary Page, Green. Helen Godwin, Labour. Steve Smith, Conservative. Oli Henman, Lib Dem. Ian Scott, Independent. Arron Banks, Reform. Race to be West of England Metro Mayor kicks off with six candidates to chose from Six people are standing for the role – and they had their first chance to plea for your vote The candidates for West of England Metro Mayor Arron Banks (Reform UK), Steve Smith (Conservative), Helen Godwin (Labour), Mary Page (Green), Oli Henman (Liberal Democrat), and Ian Scott (Independent) The race to be elected the next Metro Mayor for the West of England has kicked off today (April 3). All six candidates for the role appeared together at the West of England Combined Authority headquarters in Bristol, as campaigning kicks off for the election on Thursday May 1. The mayor is responsible for improving transport across the region and attracting and delivering major investment and the role is only set to become more powerful under the Labour government’s “English Devolution” plans. Speaking to the Local Democracy Reporting Service, Conservative candidate and former Bristol City councillor Steve Smith said he would stop funding for more controversial liveable neighbourhoods in Bath and Bristol. Meanwhile Liberal Democrat candidate Oli Henman, who is a councillor on Bath and North East Somerset Council, said the Liberal Democrats were the only party who could “bring everyone together” and come up with a joint plan in the region. Green candidate Mary Page said it was not hypocritical to run for Metro Mayor after successfully campaigning to scrap Bristol’s elected mayor, who ran the city council. She said the Mayor of Bristol, who was directly elected, was a “dictatorial” role while the Metro Mayor role was about bringing people together. Brexit campaign donor and now Reform UK candidate Arron Banks stood by his 2017 comments describing Bristol as a “little Somalia.” He then blamed Somalians and Romanians for crime in the city. He also said that the role had very little power and there wasn’t much that whoever won could get done. Labour candidate Helen Godwin said she wanted to “get the buses sorted first,” and would not take anything off the table in terms of a mass transport network. But longtime Labour South Gloucestershire councillor Ian Scott, who is standing as an independent candidate after repeatedly not being selected as Labour’s Metro Mayor candidate, said he had more experience than her. He said he was not going to make any commitments before being elected. Current Labour mayor Dan Norris was elected in 2021 but since the 2024 general election he has also been the MP for North East Somerset and Hanham. Under Labour Party policy, he is not running for re-election as mayor. The full list of candidates is: Arron Banks (Reform UK) Helen Godwin (Labour) Oli Henman (Liberal Democrat) Mary Page (Green) Ian Scott (Independent) Steve Smith (Conservative)

Bills going up from April 1st. Rachel Reeves cuts to disabled benefits. Household bills rise for millions from today as ‘awful April’ hikes come into effect Tuesday 1 April 2025 A host of bills are rising from April 1, as ITV News North of England correspondent Rachel Townsend reports Millions of households across the country are facing rising bills across the board from today, in what’s being dubbed “awful April”. The annual bill for a household using a typical amount of gas and electricity is going up to £1,849 per year, an increase of £111, as Ofgem’s latest energy price cap takes effect. Water bills for households are also going up in England and Wales by £10 more per month on average, though it varies depending on the company. Meanwhile, most councils in England will hike tax by the maximum amount allowed, which is 4.99%, and on April 6 the rate of employer NICs will increase from 13.8% to 15%. Opposition critics have claimed families will be up to £3,536 worse off over the course of this Parliament as a result of what they call the government’s “jobs tax”. Raegan Furness, a full-time carer for her two disabled children, told Good Morning Britain she runs out of money by halfway through the month and urged energy companies not to push her family “beyond the edge”. “I don’t know where the (extra money) is gonna come from,” she said. “What am I gonna take from my children, what can I take from the home in order to give them energy companies that make billions in profit just to pay my bills? “They shouldn’t be forcing families like mine and children like mine – over the edge – beyond poverty.” Raegan Furness told Good Morning Britain she’s constantly running out of money An increase to the national living wage also comes into effect from today, which Labour insists will “give workers more money in their pockets” despite the hikes. Those eligible aged 21 and over will get a 6.7% pay increase, from £11.44 to £12.21 per hour, while 18 to 20-year-olds will receive an uplift of £1.40, from £8.60 to £10 per hour, under the changes. Angela Rayner, who is also overseeing Labour’s plans to upgrade workers’ right, said: “This pay rise for over three million of the lowest-paid workers was a priority for this government and means we’re already giving hardworking people more money in their pockets, and a proper wage increase worth over twice the rate of inflation. “These changes are part of our plan for change – to raise living standards for people across the country, including apprentices and young people, giving them more job security and the huge pay boost they deserve too.”

Bristol Disability Benefit Cuts Demo – Martin Cavanagh, President of PCS Union, gives a speech. New ‘Crips Against Cuts’ disabled campaign mounts nationwide DWP protests – but they weren’t without incident Chronically ill and disabled activists and allies took to the streets on Saturday 22 March against the Labour Party’s planned brutal cuts to their benefits. Protesters mobilised across the country in 14 locations to call out the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) disgraceful move to slash social security for sick and disabled people to meet chancellor Rachel Reeves’ arbitrary self-imposed fiscal savings. The demonstrations kicked off the start of chronically ill and disabled resistance to the government’s dangerous austerity-driven punch downs on the community. However, the protests weren’t without issue or incident. Most alarmingly, protesters were met with violent physical hate crimes at one protest – showing the unsafe and hostile climate Labour’s plans and rhetoric has stoked. In London, a small group of protesters gathered at Southbank along the River Thames holding placards and giving powerful speeches against the cuts: One disabled protester called the corporate media’s recent attacks on Personal Independence Payment (PIP) claimants’ access to the Motability scheme out for what it is: Exeter activists held a die-in to represent the deaths of chronically ill and disabled people that Labour’s cuts will foment: Sheffield drew a sizeable crowd with some poignant and on-point placards: Labour MPs didn’t have the balls to face protesters Protesters in Cambridge pitched up outside a local Jobcentre with a big banner. They followed this up by draping the banner over a local bridge in defiance against Labour’s plans: In Edinburgh, campaigners took their protest right to the constituency office front door of Labour Secretary of State for Scotland Ian Murray MP: Local media site the Edinburgh Reporter was on the ground interviewing protesters who spelled out what the cuts would mean for them and their loved ones: However, as the outlet noted, while Murray was in Edinburgh, he clearly didn’t have the balls to look his constituents in the face outside his office. Green Party co-leader Carla Denyer on the ground, but… Meanwhile, activists gathered together on College Green in Bristol to host speeches: As the Canary highlighted ahead of the protests, Bristol Central MP and Green Party leader Carla Denyer came out in support of chronically ill and disabled people fighting the cuts: Though, a word of caution might be warranted here. This is the same Denyer who also voted for Kim Leadbeater’s assisted dying bill at second reading, alongside her Green Party colleagues. All 350 Deaf and Disabled People’s Organisations (DDPOs) are against it due to the enormous risks it poses to chronically ill and disabled folks. So, while she may be an ally in opposing these cuts, protesters should be wary of thinking that she’s genuinely listening to the valid concerns and fears of our communities. The widespread protests show the depth of opposition to Labour’s callous plans from chronically ill and disabled people across the country. PCS national president Martin Cavanagh gave a speech at the Bristol demo: Throughout, he appealed to ‘class solidarity’ and argued that: Those who need support are somehow the problem. Those who need support are somehow the cause of all our ills in the UK. Well we all know that is a damn right lie. And every single one of us has a duty and responsibility to call it out. And comrades, what I find particularly disturbing, is that my background is DWP – clearly I’ve been evil in a previous life. But absolutely we understood and we knew back in the 1980s when I first started, that you absolutely on day one learned that anyone who came through that door, whether they were sick, had a disability, or just couldn’t find work, your job was to support them. Give them the financial leg up that they needed, when they needed it. And you were absolutely told that they shouldn’t leave that building until you’ve done everything you could to help them. And how quickly times changed.

With John Rees and the SWP in charge is this an MI5 operation to control Corbyn and the UK Left? Matt O’Branain went to Jeremy Corbyn conference ‘We Demand Change’ in London, and gives a report. Follow Matt on X or Instagram. Lively conference, unclear plans – We demand change The SWP-organised Summit of Resistance (“We Demand Change”) on 29 March in East London was an impressive size. The organisers claimed 2,000 on site, which seems accurate, plus another 1,000 online. The crowd was not as uniformly old as at some events put on by the left. Jeremy Corbyn spoke at the event. He offered no support for the various electoral ambitions of the SWP, Feinstein, and the Greens. Rather, he projected the gathering as a meeting of campaigns offering mutual solidarity (which is what the publicity for the event promised). Artin Giles, speaking for Corbyn’s Peace and Justice project, insisted that the “We Demand Change” groups promised around the country should be to “build campaigns”, not to launch a new electoral bloc. Andrew Feinstein spoke from the platform twice, and his involvement here was one signal of what is intended. Previously he has been in lockstep with Corbyn in that electoral activity should be based on groups built locally rather than as part of an overarching national project and, in the St. Pancras and Holborn constituency where he ran against Starmer in 2024, has been using Assemble’s model of people’s assemblies. That sounds plausibly democratic, but they are unlikely to be a month-in-month-out panacea without being linked to working-class struggle. In normal times the “assemblies” are likely to be populated by a narrow layer of activists. Feinstein may have moved away from Corbyn. He has been in talks with the SWP about what comes after this event, and may have reached an agreement on We Demand Change being an umbrella for a move towards common electoral work. The lack of clearly-announced plans and debate meant that, as with the Owl of Minerva spreading her wings and bringing knowledge only at dusk, it was the last speaker in the final plenary who announced “the” plan. SWP national secretary Lewis Nielsen took that speech (as a Stand up to Racism office-holder rather than as SWP, although it is unclear when and how SutR agreed the policy he announced). He announced (it had not been discussed during the day) that We Demand Change would be holding more of these summits across the country with a view to setting up campaigning bodies. These will “build the resistance [and] a new politics” with a plan to mount “a socialist challenge to Labour in May 2026”, meaning an electoral challenge in next year’s local government elections. What this means for SutR’s “don’t vote for racists” policy (which generally implies voting Labour to defeat Reform), or for their declared united front with all labour movement bodies, who knows.

The End Of Globalisation: Liberation Day?Trump ripping up trade agreements. Free trade. Nationalism vs globalism. Trump’s new trade tariffs – a disaster or a change? Emily Sheffield, former Editor of Evening Standard, on BBC QT, gives a case for Trump’s tariffs. Audience guy QT – at least Trump has a plan. Trump Says America Will Win ‘Economic Revolution,’ Promises ‘Historic’ Result President Donald Trump said that the United States is in the midst of an “economic revolution” and urged Americans to “hang tough” for a “historic” result. Trump’s comments came in a Truth Social post on Saturday, just days after he announced his worldwide reciprocal tariffs aimed at offsetting trade imbalances the United States has with other nations. “China has been hit much harder than the USA, not even close. They, and many other nations, have treated us unsustainably badly. We have been the dumb and helpless ‘whipping post,’ but not any longer,” Trump wrote. Notable tariffs Trump announced on Wednesday that are set to take effect on April 9 include a 34-percent discounted reciprocal tariff on China, a 20-percent tariff on the European Union, and a 46-percent tariff on Vietnam. “We are bringing back jobs and businesses like never before. Already, more than FIVE TRILLION DOLLARS OF INVESTMENT, and rising fast!” he added. A number of major companies have announced massive investments into the United States since Trump returned to office, which he says have been driven by his tariff policies. Stargate, a joint project among OpenAI, Oracle, and SoftBank, is investing $500 billion in America. Apple also announced a $500 billion investment, while other examples include Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company’s (TSMC) announcement of a $100 billion investment and Hyundai’s announcement of a $20 billion investment. Last week, Trump signed an executive order to expedite investments of over $1 billion. In his post on Saturday, Trump urged Americans to “hang tough” amid the economic realignment, which he says will not “be easy” but will produce a “historic” result. “THIS IS AN ECONOMIC REVOLUTION, AND WE WILL WIN. HANG TOUGH, it won’t be easy, but the end result will be historic. We will, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!” Trump added. While Trump’s reciprocal tariffs on dozens of countries are set to take effect on April 9, his baseline tariffs on many other nations took effect after midnight on Saturday. His move is already yielding results, as he announced Friday that Vietnam offered to cut tariffs on America to zero if it can reach a deal with the United States.

King Charles convenes unconstitutional meeting of top UK and French nuclear military brass in Windsor Castle with top European military story. King meets with UK and French military top brass at Windsor Charles, head of the armed forces, held an audience with the Joint Chiefs of Staff from both countries in the castle’s White Drawing Room on Monday. Laura Elston Monday 24 March 2025 The King has met with the UK and France’s top military leaders at Windsor Castle. Charles, who is head of the British armed forces, held an audience with the joint chiefs of staff from both countries on Monday afternoon. He welcomed the 10 guests including Chief of the Defence Staff Admiral Sir Tony Radakin and his French counterpart General Thierry Burkhard to the royal residence’s White Drawing Room in Berkshire, where they posed for a group photo. The meeting came as Western military planning to enforce a potential ceasefire in Ukraine intensified in London, with discussions between the British and French military chiefs. Sir Tony, the head of the UK’s armed forces, said Europe’s two nuclear powers were “stepping up to forge a stronger and deeper partnership”. Alongside the heads of each nation’s army, navy and air force, Sir Tony and General Burkhard have discussed efforts to “galvanise” the European response to the situation in Ukraine – while Ukrainian, Russian and American officials attended talks in Saudi Arabia aimed at achieving a ceasefire. Also at Windsor with the King were Vice Chief of the Defence Staff General Dame Sharon Nesmith, First Sea Lord and Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Sir Ben Key, Chief of the General Staff General Sir Roly Walker and Air Marshal Allan Marshall. And from the French forces were French Army Chief of Staff General Pierre Schill, French Navy Chief of Staff Admiral Nicolas Vaujour, Chief of Staff of the French Air and Space Force General Jerome Bellanger, along with General Stephane Abrial.

Dr Chris Busby shows weapons used in Gaza contain nuclear materials. I think, from the responses, its not clear what this picture means. So I explain simply. I thought it was clear. But maybe not. What I did is take the soil sample from close to the bomb impact site collected with a car vacuum cleaner by colleagues in Beirut. The samples were very hard to get as going near the site was forbidden. When they went there, they found the site was slightly radioactive still 6 weeks after the bomb (300 vs 100nSv/h). The samples were hidden in a bag of coffee and taken out to France by a passenger on a flight. In France the coffee was posted to me (it was good coffee). I examined it for gamma and beta radiation, no differences, then spread it thinly on a plastic dish of 9cm diameter. I placed a piece of plastic the size of a microscope slide on it, covered the dish with a plastic cover, placed it all in a closed glass vessel and left it for 30 days. The radioactive alpha emitter elements present in the sample decayed in this period and the alpha particles from the decay hammered into the plastic causing molecular damage to the polymers. I took the slide out and put it in concentrated potassium hydroxide at 80 degrees for 4 hours which etched the surface preferentially where the alpha particles had hit, causing tracks. What you see is a bubble that is like a cross section of the track. So each bubble shows an alpha particle track towards the plastic surface. There are of course more tracks away from the surface. If there are a lot of them clustered together in the microscope picture, it means that they have the same source, that is, lots of tracks from the same point. This means the presence of a solid particle of some radioactive alpha emitter. There are only a certain number of these in the environment and we know what they are and how they decay, what their decay half life is. The track number and the exposure time point to Uranium particles of between 1 and 5 micrometres. As to what it means: first, if one of these particles is inside you, your cells receive the hits and damage you see in the picture. This is thousands of times more radiation dose than is modelled by the risk model that is currently used to protect the public which diluted the energy into kilograms of organs. Such particles never existed in evolution. Second we found accidentally that the particles become airborne and deposit on the opposite clean side of the slide. This means that they do this anyway in the environment, something I told the Royal Society in 2001 but which the denied on the basis of calculations. Third, it means that the Israelis are using Uranium bombs. (Could be special new Uranium bombs, we have to wait and see if this is one). Make no mistake, IAEA know about this new weapon and the Russians have the technology, as do the USA and probably Iran. Probably it is the warhead of Oreshnik. Thanks to you all to ask for more information. I sort of assume that its clear what is going on. The final thing is that this method is tedious but cheap. I don’t have money to pay laboratories. And we cant trust laboratories. For example, an original sample was obtained from one of the first soldiers sent to the bomb site. He smuggled it to Jihad who is a chemist, and President of the Lebanese Chemists association. Jihad posted it the a French laboratory for analysis. They told him it had a lot of Uranium and they were not prepared to say how much or what kind. Everyone is frightened in this game. He nevertheless made a report saying that Israel had used a Uranium bomb. Its on the web.

15 paramedics killed in Gaza. Tom Cheshire Sky Report – Aid is not getting in to Gaza and people are starving. Gaza ambulance ‘crushed’ by IDF as aid attacks increase Sky News analysis shows the deaths of 15 humanitarian workers whose bodies and ambulances were buried in the sand are part of an increasing pattern. Sky News analysis shows the deaths of 15 humanitarian workers whose bodies and ambulances were buried in the sand are part of an increasing pattern On Sunday, a mass grave containing the bodies of 15 first responders was unearthed in Gaza. Sky News investigates how their final moments unfolded. The group had disappeared during a rescue mission one week earlier. An ambulance belonging to the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) was on a rescue mission in the early hours of 23 March when it called for help, the NGO says, claiming it was under attack by Israeli forces. Three more ambulances were dispatched to assist them, along with a crew from the public sector organisation Civil Defence, but contact was soon lost with the group. Satellite imagery shows the area on 26 March, three days after they went missing. Tyre tracks are visible, as are groundworks likely created by military vehicles. The IDF says that its troops fired on the ambulances because they had not coordinated their movements with the military, and that their headlights and emergency signals were turned off. Speaking to Sky News, however, the director of ambulance and emergency services at PRCS Mohammed Abu Mosahba said that coordination was not required because they were not inside an evacuation zone. “[The first ambulance] moved into the area without coordination because it was a safe area and does not require coordination,” he said. The map below shows the location of the attack, in yellow. In red are the areas that the IDF had marked as evacuation zones in the days prior to the attack. In orange is a new evacuation order issued on the day of the attack, which includes the attack location. This evacuation order was first posted online by the IDF’s Arabic spokesman at 8.31am local time that day, around four hours after the incident began and almost an hour after PRCS first publicly said it had lost contact with the crew. Abu Mosahba says that after the first ambulance came under attack, PRCS did request coordination for the other three ambulances. Dr Mohammed Al Mughir, director of logistics at Civil Defence, also says that coordination was not required to move in the area until the evacuation order was issued, which he says was “more than three hours after our colleagues were killed”. He further disputes the IDF’s claim that the vehicles had their headlights, sirens and emergency lights switched off. “All vehicles had light signals, phosphorescent markings and features indicating that they were emergency vehicles,” he says. The lights from one of the ambulances were later discovered lying on top of the mass grave, marking its location. Partially buried alongside the bodies were all four ambulances, as well as a fire engine and a UN vehicle.

‘Blowing all the messengers’ brains out’. More journalists have been deliberately located, targeted and killed in 18 months in Gaza than in all wars, including world wars, for the last 120 years. Journalists killed in wars – Gaza the highest ever by far and in only 18 months – News Graveyards: How Dangers to War Reporters Endanger the World Since the 2000s, national governments and terrorist groups – from Israel, Syria’s Assad regime and the United States to the Islamic State – have found ways to curtail conflict coverage through myriad means, from repressive policies to armed attack. All have killed journalists and helped to foster a culture of impunity, turning conflict zones like Syria and Gaza into “news graveyards.” The war in Gaza has, since October 7, 2023, killed more journalists than the U.S. Civil War, World Wars I and II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War (including the conflicts in Cambodia and Laos), the wars in Yugoslavia in the 1990s and 2000s, and the post-9/11 war in Afghanistan, combined. It is, quite simply, the worst ever conflict for reporters. Worldwide, threats to journalists in conflict zones are increasing. In 2023, a journalist or media worker was, on average, killed or murdered every four days. In 2024, it was once every three days. Most reporters harmed or killed, as is the case in Gaza, are local journalists. Not only do local reporters face great risk, standing alone in the face of extraordinary violence; this also impairs news coverage and, as a result, the worldwide information ecosystem. The decreasing number of experienced foreign correspondents in conflict zones, due to long term shifts in the global news industry that have led to the de-prioritization of international news coverage and the closure of foreign news bureaus, has likewise crippled critical knowledge and helped facilitate the creation of news graveyards. Reliable information about wars and conflicts is essential for the wellbeing of local populations and is necessary to enlighten the world on the forces behind wars and the toll on civilians.

Vasily Prozorov, a former officer in Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) has told TASS that the SBU and the Ukrainian defense ministry’s main intelligence directorate (GUR) were behind terror attacks in Russia and that these attacks were greenlighted by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky. Earlier, law enforcement told TASS that Russian investigators had charged in absentia SBU chief Vasily Malyuk for organizing a terror attack on the Crimean Bridge linking the Crimean Peninsula with mainland Russia in the summer 2023. The man was arrested in absentia and put on the wanted list as part of other terrorism cases. “Orders from the SBU chief regulate the service’s entire activities, including special operations. This means that the SBU chief puts his signature under the orders, endorses them. There is no way that Malyuk is unaware of the SBU’s high-profile acts, especially those committed outside Ukraine. He at least endorses the operational plans, signs the order sheets for resources. He knows about such operations. He reports on them to the country’s supreme leadership. Because, it is absolutely obvious that such actions, for instance, in Russia’s territory, cannot be organized without consent from Zelensky or his office head, as the SBU is controlled by them,” Prozorov said. That is why, in his words, any SBU operations in Russia’s territory must first get the okay from Malyuk, Zelensky, and Yermak. “So, it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that Malyuk is behind all the [SBU-sponsored] terror attacks, acts of sabotage, and murders in Russia, not only in its new territories,” he stressed.

Covid Plandemic What Did We Learn? Crimes Against Humanity Five Years On 1: Hedley Rees, Inside Pharma Substack, on how RFK has subscribed to his channel and has subsequently sacked Peter Marks after his investigation in to him. DISRUPTING THE PHARMA INDUSTRY? DO ME A FAVOUR… PLEASE SUSPEND JUDGEMENT UNTIL YOU’VE HEARD OUR CASE by Hedley Rees This is the title of Chapter 1 of the book. I had anticipated the incredulity and pushback from potential readers, with such a title as Taming the BIG PHARMA MONSTER. Who ever was going to believe that? When I wrote the book, it was through 2019, when people didn’t then quite see the need for disruption of the Big Pharma Business model. I’m hoping people do now, some six years later. A Bit About the Book Chapter 1 begins: “There aren’t too many people willing to countenance the potential disruption of the pharma industry. In fact, there is probably no-one who would give houseroom to the notion – but it’s possible. If this book achieves nothing other than convincing you of that, then we have a result on our hands. So, give your brain a quick swill, wash out your pre-conceived ideas, and sit back for a fascinating few hours.” Published 28th May 2019 In the section ‘SEPARATING FACT FROM FICTION’, I make this observation: “After reading this book, you will be able to separate fact from the various fictional accounts of what is going on in the industry. Pharmaceutical companies and their trade associations put forward their view of the world, as do various media outlets and professional communications agencies. The level of interest in the truth varies greatly, but one thing is certain – it is almost impossible to gain an objective view of the rights and wrongs of all that is going on. This book will correct that.

Covid Plandemic What Did We Learn? Crimes Against Humanity Five Years On 2: Dr. Bob Gill explains how to tell if your GP is any good or not – a couple of simple questions as a litmus test on what he learnt from the plandemic and the research Dr Aseem Malhotra has done in to mRNA jabs affecting the heart. The Great NHS Heist: Exposing a crime against the nation Working as a General Practitioner in South-East England for over two decades, I have experienced the effects of the stealth ideological assault on the NHS. De-funding, outsourcing and marketisation has squandered billions, made my job harder and for my patients more frustrating with delays, fragmentation and in some cases preventable harm. The local Queen Mary’s Hospital in Sidcup, had been downgraded with the closure of its A&E department, maternity unit, acute medical and surgical services. It rapidly became clear to me that bed capacity could not meet necessary demand and many patients were not getting timely and safe care. In 2012, on the back of these cuts, came the announcement of plans to downgrade another hospital just a few miles away in Lewisham, spurring me to join the campaign to defend this new target against a dangerous assault. How on earth did it make any sense to further reduce medical services with the population growing and need increasing? In the years leading up to making The Great NHS Heist, it became clear that fundamental information was being kept out of the public domain. The parliamentary system was broken. We had endured four decades of neoliberal policies supported, enacted but not explained by all three main political parties. Waiting for politicians to come to the rescue was wishful thinking. Mainstream media simply perpetuated public ignorance about what was really going on. Successive reforms went ahead without meaningful scrutiny, camouflaged in marketing spin and buzz words with consistent regurgitation and the spectacle parliamentary pantomime on our screens. Observing the narrow and shallow debate around health policy after learning much about the reality soon shattered any illusions of having an open democracy with a functional fourth estate. Having produced Sell Off in 2014 fellow campaigners persuaded me to produce another film to paint an updated picture of the future for the NHS and the trajectory to replicating the American corporate dominated nightmare. Our goal was to explain how far the NHS had been mutated from its original public service function and reveal the destination to be the US-style for-profit healthcare. A system designed to deliver grotesque profits by avoiding sick patients, denial of care, financial and bureaucratic barriers to access and outright fraud. With filmmaker Drew McFadyen and support from a core group of health campaigners, we embarked on producing this crowdfunded film. There have been many challenges not least to weave together analysis of the history, legislation, tactics and implications of the privatisation plan but we were determined to make a robust factual and engaging documentary. Experts from the UK and USA combined with NHS staff and patients provided powerful testimony to reveal the crime of the century.

Europe’s Economic Suicide? Micheal Hudson on The Crusades, The Great Schism of 1154 and declining power of Europe in the present day. Is the power network the Luciferian Illuminati, former Holy Roman Empire and European Aristocracy? Prof. Michael Hudson: Economic Collapse in Europe. Glenn Diesen – 26 Mar 2025 – Micheal Hudson is a renowned economist, here he addresses why Europe has set itself on a path to economic crisis and collapse. The Road to Chaos – A Global Balance of Payments War By Michael Hudson – Tuesday, January 28, 2025 Trump’s Balance-of-Payments War on Mexico, and the Whole World The 1940s saw a series of movies with Bing Crosby and Bob Hope, starting with the Road to Singapore in 1940. The plot was always similar. Bing and Bob, two fast-talking con men or song-and-dance partners, would find themselves in a scrape in some country, and Bing would get out of it by selling Bob as a slave (Morocco in 1942, where Bing promises to buy him back) or committing him to be sacrificed in some pagan ceremony, and so forth. Bob always goes along with the plan, and there’s always a happy Hollywood ending where they escape together – with Bing always getting the girl. In the past few years we have seen a series of similar diplomatic stagings with the United States and Germany (standing in for Europe as a whole). We could call it the Road to Chaos. The United States has sold out Germany by destroying Nord Stream, with Germany’s Chancellor Olaf Scholtz (the hapless Bob Hope character) going along with it, and with European Commission President Ursula von der Lehen playing the part of Dorothy Lamour (the girl, being Bing’s prize in the Hollywood Road movies) demanding that all Europe increase its NATO military spending beyond Biden’s demand for 2% to Trump’s escalation to 5%. To top matters, Europe is to impose sanctions on trade with Russia and China, obliging them to relocate their leading industries in the United States. So, unlike the movies, this will not end with the United States rushing in to save gullible Germany. Instead, Germany and Europe as a whole will become sacrificial offerings in our desperate but futile effort to save the US Empire. While Germany may not immediately end up with an emigrating and shrinking population like Ukraine, its industrial destruction is well under way. Trump told the Davos Economic Forum January 23: “My message to every business in the world is very simple: Come make your product in America and we will give you among the lowest taxes of any nation on earth.” Otherwise, if they continue to try and produce at home or in other countries, their products will be charged tariff rates at Trump’s threatened 20%. To Germany this means (my paraphrase): “Sorry your energy prices have quadrupled. Come to America and get them at almost as low a price as you were paying Russia before your elected leaders let us cut Nord Stream off.” The great question is how many other countries will be as quiescent as Germany as Trump changes the rules of the game – America’s Rules-Based Order. At what point will a critical mass be achieved that changes the world order as a whole? Can there be a Hollywood ending to the coming chaos? The answer is No, and that the key is to be found in the balance-of-payments effect of Trump’s threatened tariffs and trade sanctions. Neither Trump nor his economic advisors understand what damage their policy is threatening to cause by radically unbalancing the balance of payments and exchange rates throughout the world, making a financial rupture inevitable.
