In this broadcast, a conversation with saxophonist, composer, bandleader, and scholar Timo Vollbrecht and drummer Dayeon Seok, both members of Vollbrechts ensemble Fly Magic. Their new release on Berthold Records is titled Givers & Takers. And an interview with guitarist Neil Hendry of the Canadian group So Long Seven. Their September release is titled only elephants know her name. Plus a selection from the debut release by pianist Caili ODoherty.
