Wow – what an incredible weekend in the city of Richmond. The Folk Festival never ceases to amaze me. Helen and I had a wonderful time running into old friends, making new ones, hosting the 79rs Gang, and seeing so much fantastic music.
I am not being lazy rehashing the weekend with a post-fest show. I purchased a bunch of new music and I just wanted to share it. I realize most folks that listen to my show and WRIR listeners in general are typically the first ones at the festival and the last ones to leave. But no matter how many hours you spent down there this past weekend – you couldn’t see it all. So hopefully I have something in store that you missed – or wanted to hear more of.
