Today we revisit the struggle of pro-Palestinian activists in the United States who try counter the well-funded attempts by the pro-Israel Lobby to silence criticism of Israel. We focus on the efforts of two organizations that provide legal resources to support the organizing efforts of pro Palestinian activists who resist efforts to silence them: The American Civil Liberties Union and Palestine Legal. In a forum at the Washington Press Club, the Washington Report on Middle East Affairs featured Yousef Munayyer of the Middle East Institute, Brian House from the ACLU Speech, Privacy and Technology Project, and Meera Shah, Senior Staff attorney at Palestine Legal.
