The Rust Belt, lends credibility to the primary idea expressed in this episode. America, as a society had decayed significantly over the past four decades; for this reason, any remedy sought by progressives or radicals mustnât try to answer all ailments at once. Yes, there is a drastic need to address certain ailments right now, ailments requiring big societal changes (climate change heads that lists) but with those ideas, must come an understanding that any remedy, no matter how potent its application, will likely bare fruit slowly. Trust between the citizenry and its government will take time to patch up, trust between the citizenry period will require significant healing itself. This stated, we mustnât loose hope that change will not bare fruit, we must grasp the need for patience and eternal optimism with a dash of unabashed realism, so that which we create doesnât rely on false pretenses and lazy calculations. This episode explains why time is required and the meaning of decay in our society. If you have any questions, comments or concerns please contact me at vphiamer.adis.ogaarwa@outlook.com
