Donald Drumpf Theatre Volume 4 The Battle of Bowling Green. A make-believe listen to what might happen if a reality television star became the leader of the free world. Contributions are welcome to info@wgxc.org
Songs include Camper Van Beethovens "Take the Skinheads Bowling" and Nick and Gabes "Bowling Green." Many other excerpts and clips are used.
"The Battle of Bowling Green" episode of Donald Drumpf Theatre, where the real is unreal, the fake is not true, and the real is phony too. This week, Drumpf, Emperor Palpatine, and Kelly Anne Conway plot to create a fake terrorist attack that the media has not even covered. Hear how the phony war is falsified to bear false witness in a theatre of attack. This is the back story about how "The Battle of Bowling Green" was created. Contributions this episode come from Kristen Stewart, Alex Baldwin, and Melissa McCarthy on "Saturday Night Live," Stephen Colbert, "South Park," and "Citizen Kane." Bits of a Monty Python sketch are mixed with clips from "Star Wars" here. Also entire songs from Nick and Gabe ("Bowling Green") and Camper Van Beethoven ("Take the Skinheads Bowling") are included, while songs from Spike Jones ("Der Fuehrer's Face") and Public Image Ltd. ("Rise") are cut up with Drumpf quotes. And Golden Earring's "Twilight Zone" is included in the opening and closing credits, with clips from the "Twilight Zone" and "Outer Limits" shows, and Bill Cosby making radio noises.
