Friday night campaign rally in Dubuque, Iowa at the Grand River Event Center. Sanders was accompanied by his wife Jane and Dr. Cornell West. He was greeted by an overflow crowd of 1300 people who were fired up to hear his message. Dr. West did the introduction. The program started an hour and one half late due to campaigning delays and travel from an earlier event in Davenport, Iowa but that did not diminish the size of the crowd or their eagerness to hear Senator Sanders vision of what they could achieve working collectively to take back this country from both the oligarchs and Wall Street Bankers. Sanders identified the Walton family ( Walmart heirs) as the country's most flagrant well fare recipients and enumerated a number his campaigns "radical ideas".
