Dr. Zayid was born and grew up in Beit Nuba, Palestine, went to school in Jerusalem, received his medical education at the University of London, and emigrated to Canada in 1972. He is the author of numerous writings including two books: Palestine: A Stolen Heritage, and Zionism: The Myth and Reality. He is also founding President of the Canada Palestine Association.
