A collage of music and the spoken word as an offering for this years earth day. Elders from the front lines warm-hearted Jane Goodall, coolly-logical James Lovelock and the no-nonsense Carolyn Baker present their views while the likes of earth-author Stephen Buhner and poets jack Collom and Lawrence Ferlinghetti spout their poetic wisdoms from earlier times.

Adult themes and language
Jane speaks from the heart while James speaks of hard envisioned truths that are coming our way. With such a heavy theme look to the poets and some of the music for some slight ironic relief. Later part of the program speaks of the children (and the child within?) and our hopes for them. Oh, and a closing word from Kurt Vonnegut read by Jack Collom.
