It was a wild and wacky street party. The Counter Forest Summit featured the Great Bear Rainforest amateur theatre, stilt-walkers, the Carnival Band, and dancing in the sunshine under the watchful eye of the Vancouver Police Department. Speakers: Tzeporah Berman of Forest Ethics and Candace Batycki of Rainforest Solutions. Other organizers include: Greenpeace, Western Canada Wilderness Committee, the Sierra Club, and West Coast Environmental Law.
