Back in the USSR begins Black History Month by celebrating the life, struggles, and careers of two African-American heroes: Paul Robeson and James Baldwin. Both of these brave men put their immense talents at the service of their people. Both fought against racism, against exploitation, and for the solidarity of oppressed peoples around the world. Through music and through writing they touched the lives of millions, and in the face of persecution they never backed down or fell silent. Thus, they showed the true power of the human spirit.
Paul Robeson - Ol' Man River
The Welfare Poets - Warn Them
Public Enemy - Say It Like It Really Is
