Sally Beare is a Montpelier-based freelance health journalist who is seriously concerned about health risks of new mobile data technology 5G. While much of the mass media debate has been about whether the UK should allow Chinese company Huawei's components to be used in the network Sally believes the 5G network should be halted immediately because it has not been tested to see if it's safe.
PETITION: Pause Bristol's 5G Rollout:
Cities and towns around the world, including Brussels, Geneva, Florence and the XII Municipality of Rome are already calling a halt to 5G. US Senators and professors are warning against the untested technology and hundreds of scientists, doctors and leaders worldwide are raising the alarm.
We believe Bristol City Council should invoke the precautionary principle and pause the rollout of this as yet untested technology.
