The older archives (>10 years old) have been substantially recovered -- more than 23,800 files' worth -- and are now reachable through the search engine and via file download. Email here if you have any questions.
Your support is essential if the service is to continue, there are bandwidth bills to pay every month and failing disk drives to replace. Volunteers do the work, but disk drives and bandwidth are not free. We encourage you to contribute financially, even a dollar helps. Click here to donate.

2006-10-27: Radio Project Users: Urgent Fundraising Appeal

Dear Uploaders and Downloaders of the A-Infos Radio Project, This message contains news and some important business. First the business. As you may know, we pay $500 per month for our bandwidth, which is due in quarterly payments. The next payment is due in November and we still need $750 dollars, so now is the time to donate some funds! Please! I have noticed that a number of people have signed up for monthly donations through the Paypal buttons on www.radio4all.net, (thanks so much!) but no has been making one time donations. Perhaps its confusing to people, but you can make a one time donation in any amount. You just click on the top button that says "make a donation". Given that we have more than 50 thousand unique users each month, raising $750 dollars in the next week shouldn't be that hard. Please help however you can, we don't ask for funds unless we need then, and bandwidth and hardware are the only things we spend money on. You can also mail a donation in cash, check or money order to A-Infos Radio Project po box 302 Watkins Glen, NY 14891 (USA) And some good news! Our long quest for a mirror site to relive the bandwidth congestion has finally brought success. Archive.org, a huge non-profit on-line library has agreed to be our mirror, so we hope to have faster downloads and access time in the future. Thanks to everyone who has participated over the last 10 years. Amazing how time flies - it was in the fall of 1996 that the work on the project began, the first web site for free and open exchange of audio files and radio production. So please give what you can, so we can continue into our next ten years. Thanks The A-Infos Radio Project Collective
