I begin with reporting how Democrats and liberal media, e.g., NY Times, attacking Trump for meeting with Kim Jong-Un and Putin prefer sabre rattling to peace compared with welcoming Nixon's meeting with Mao Tse-Tung in 1972 that my guest Consortium News Joe Lauria will speak about later in the program.
I then refer back to the US backed Ukraine coup that has been excised by the media which chooses to begin crisis with Russia starting with annexation of Crimea. I then, in brief, review the history of Crimea going back to its capture in 1783 by Catherine the Great, its becoming a part of the Russian Federation in the USSR until 1954 when the Ukrainian Khrushchev made it part of Ukraine, then to 1991, with fall of the USSR, it became an autonomous republic within Ukraine and its parliament had every right to vote to rejoin the Russian Federation.
After mentioning Russian accusations that the coup militants in Maidan Square were neo-Nazis, I refer to a story from Ha'aretz about 40 Israeli human rights advocates going to Israel's High Court to get Israel to stop selling weapons to Ukrainian neo-Nazis who wear swastikas and SS badges.
I then report on another story, ignored by US media, about a new joint US-Israel task force, featuring John Bolton and an Israeli counterpart designed to put pressure on Iran but not (LOL) to topple the government.
I finish up with a powerful and moving 4:29 min. interview with Ed Schultz, the former MSNBC news host about how the Clintonites and the head of MSNBC prevented him from covering Bernie Sanders, how he was censored there before being fired while at RT where he was working until he died, he was never told what to say. An indictment of the Democrats and the liberal media that should be widely shared.
