I begin by briefly describing Adam Entous's New Yorker article about Israeli prime minister Netanyahu forcing Trump and his three predecessors to sign a letter promising not to disclose or act against Israel's nuclear weapons program and that my guest, Grant Smith, will speak about the issue and what Entous didn't mention: that the presidents were violating US law.
I go on to recall an event in San Francisco in 1982, after Israel had invaded Lebanon where Begin's secretary and prime minister to be, Ehud Olmert admitted that Israel had nuclear missiles trained on Moscow.
I then report on three critical stories concerning the Israeli take over of US policy on Iran that the mainstream and mainstream alternative haven't touched, the first being the unprecedented secret treaty between the Israeli and US intelligence agencies targeting Iran signed last Dec. 12 and reported only in Israel, the report in a Saudi owned website from Israel that the Trump administration had agreed to deliver to Israel weapons and planes needed to attack Iran that Obama had refused to do, and finally the opening of a US air defense base in Israel announced last December in which US troops will be operating under the command of the Israeli military and the likelihood of this making the US Israel's partner in its next war, either with Hezbollah or Iran.
I go on to announce John Bolton's trip to Moscow and how it is reported in Russia and by the British and US press and conclude with an excerpt from Mehdi Hassan of the Intercept's interview with Ben Rhodes, former Obama deputy national security adviser in which he admits that the US backed ISIS.
