Interview
David Jacobs, Toronto attorney, specialist in human rights, labor law and constitutional law, defense attorney at the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR)
David Jacobs discusses the recent decision of Judge Emma Arbuthnot of the Westminister Magistrates' Court re Rwanda's request for extradition of Five Rwandans taking refuge in Britain. Judge Arbuthnot made the unusual but welcomed decision not to extradite the five Rwandans on trail --Vincent Brown (aka Vincent Bajinya), Charles Munyazeza, Emmanuel Nteziryayo, Celestin Ugirashebuja and Celestin Mutabaruka-Requested persons
This decision is a welcome break from the ICTR and Canada extraditing Rwandans with no more than a promise from Kagame's Rwanda that the clients would get a fair trial in Rwanda.
