Chris Black describes the arrest of African members of the defense team of a Congolese leader, Jean-Pierre Bemba.

The prosecutors at the ICC illegally tapped defense phone calls and had them arrested for tampering with witnesses.

There has been no public review of the matter, Black explains, because the Bemba team intended to show it was the prosecution that was in fact improperly seeking to manipulate those witnesses.
