The Unist'ot'en Pipeline Blockade is near Houston, British Columbia. It's about 1,200 kilometres from Vancouver. In July 2014, I boarded the Social Coast Action Bus -- a converted school bus used for social justice and environmental projects and drove with a group of activists to the blockade for the annual Action Camp. The camp brings together activists of all stripes for a week of workshops, shared meals, networking and volunteering.
