Sister artists Larissa Dakini Star, and Celena Delphi of the "Goddess Alchemy Project," and their mother, Shamama Leslene della Madre, author of "Midwifing Death, Into the Arms of the Ancient Mother." join Janie Rezner on Women's Voices.
This is a show NOT to be missed as these two young inspired artists deeply and eloquently share about the mothering they received from their wise mother, Leslene. and how awareness of the Sacred Feminine has always been part of their lives, transmitted through her.
The Goddess Alchemy Project in collaboration with many artists and producers, integrates elements of underground hip-hop, world accents, spoken word flows and soulful melodies. The liner notes read: "At the core of this album exists the presence of the divine mystery we recognize as our source." Their work includes international solidarity work with indigenous peoples, youth service, arts empowerment education and other forms of community outreach. These elements have always informed the music, and are deeply connected to the work the collective presents through their performance. http://www.goddessalchemyproject.com/index.html
