Please excuse the horrible quality of the phone at KILL RADIO. We still had a great conversation with the legendary VOLUME TEN this week on UNSEEN LEGION RADIO. DJ EARL-E did his usual stellar job on the turntables - even breaking out his original red vinyl copy of PISOTOLGRIP PUMP. BIN GRIM also joined MC PROSE and YESKI ANIOMIKS to start off ULr's 2014 run the right way. JA DOX also joined us about halfway thru the show and only added on to the flavor. INASOULBIANZ in the building! I'z UP!
Volume Ten is the man, by the way. We had a great extended conversation with him, covering a lot of ground and getting an insight into a more cerebral side of him than some would know exists. The man is deep, thoughtful, articulate and REAL. DJ Earl-E also played his new joint, Uncle's Children and he promised to come into the station soon. Aw yeah...
We also took some time to remember our friend MARK HAVENER aka QUEST ION, our friend and a talented spoken word poet from Jacksonville, Florida who tragically passed away in his sleep on 12-29-13. MC Prose read one of his outstanding poems and took some time to reflect on this talent, his contribution to ULr and more. Rest in Peace, Mark. You are already missed.
