Episode 56: LadySoal & Angry Arcade
It seems there may never be a bad episode of UNSEEN LEGION RADIO. And with guests like these, it's no wonder. This week we hosted the return of the beautiful and multitalented LADYSOAL, along with her new collaborative partners, ANGRY ARCADE. Steve and Danny are a couple of cool cats from Florida with a unique sound that marks a definite change of direction for LadySoal. We chatted with Sharika (Ladysoal), Steve and Danny about their styles, influences and much more, while playing a few new songs, including the unreleased, unmastered and UNTITLED song they just wrote with LadySoal that THEY NEED YOU TO COME UP WITH A TITLE FOR. We also got a call from QUEST ION in Jacksonville, FL. We chatted for a minute and he read a very powerful and moving poem dedicated to his late friend, JEREMY LUKE LOL-J, who passed away in Feb of 2012. R.I.P. Lol-J. DJJD and DJ BOB-E both also called in over the course of the night.
Of course, DJ EARL-E kep it fresh and funky with another awesome playlist. And MC PROSE, YESKI, G DAWG, VEGA$ $UPREME & RAY BEATS were all on hand to keep the evening flowing smoothly and the good vibes in the air. Earl-E even ended the night with some great joints from some of our previous guests, including L SCATTER, PAWZ ONE, ARCHAICS & GEL ROC. He even dropped a Yeski instrumental for what might be the first time on ULr.
