Episode 40: The Gangsta Goddess
Man, us folks here at UNSEEN LEGION RADIO could do this kinda thing every day. It was a long time coming, but it was well worth the wait. This week, we hosted Queen MEDUSA herself. A consumate professional, she arrived early, stayed late and showed the bluntness, insight, wisdom, grace and charisma that makes her one of the most respected MCs in L.A., male or female. From her poplockin' roots to her upcoming new album and appearance at the upcoming Unity, we talked about it all. Priceless historical jewels were dropped; plenty of feline science, if you know what I mean. We played her first song ever, the underground classic by SIN, Power of the P. Of course, that's not all we played. Medusa even leaked a couple of dope tracks from her new album. It's gonna be a great one.
Of course, BIN GRIM, YESKI & PROSE were on hand to ask the in-depth questions ULR is known for, and to help DJ EARL-E set the vibe. We did a good job, and Medusa let us know. Earl-E was on point, providing several E-mixes and generally showing why he is the man on the wheels for the ULR and the InaSoulbian Crew. So check it out. We're the stuff hip-hop is made of.
