Last month, the Government of Canada reached a settlement with BobbyLee Worm, a 26 year-old Aboriginal woman who was held in solitary confinement for more than three and a half years. The lawsuit charged that Ms. Worm was treated illegally and inhumanely. The BC Civil Liberties Association represented Ms. Worm in the groundbreaking case.
