This is the Peace Radio program for April 7, 2013. Features an interview with retired Lewis-Clark State College Anthropology Professor Alan Marshall, who was honored by the Idaho Humanities Council honored Marshall with its âOutstanding Achievement in the Humanitiesâ award.
Marshall, in collaboration with Nez Perce tribal elders, brought Nez Perce language instruction to Lewis and Clark State College in Lewiston, ID. Program includes a review of remarks made by Sherman Alexie at Washington State University and a presentation by American Indian activist John Trudell in Moscow, ID. Jill Wagner reviews movies presented during theAmerican Indian Film Festival hosted by the University of Idaho. Also includes regular features, the Human Toll, book reviews, and children's programming by Miriam Kent.
