The department of energy is proposing to dispose of radioactive metals by sending them to recycling centers, thus poisoning the recycled metal supply with radioactivity. If this is approved your next zipper or set of silverware could be radioactive.

DOE is accepting public comment only until the 11th of February 2013. Go to nirs.org to comment to DOE and click the red "You can help stop them!"
