Aug 10 marked 50 years since beginning of spraying of Agent Orange on Vietnam. Cohn speaks of enormity of ongoing human and physical damage caused by defoliant, pictures we didn’t see during the war, and appreciates that US has announced clean-up program. She calls for support of HR 2634, Victims of Agent Orange Relief Act introduced 7/25/11, that has only 13 co-sponsors, encouraging listeners to call Congress, write newspapers calling for passage of act. She speaks of hypocrisy of US and Obama administration using “depleted” uranium shells in Iraq without regard to dangers.
