No one’s ever accused Republican senatorial candidates of being especially smart, nor particularly scientific minded, but at minimum, a voter might expect the candidate to know some of the real world consequences of legislation they support. Apparently even that knowledge is a bridge too far for senatorial candidate George Allen.
