Join legendary community activist Grace Lee Boggs and co-author Scott Kurashige in a conversation about her new book âThe Next American Revolution: Sustainable Activism for the 21st Century,â which reflects on Graceâs decades of movement building in the Motor City. The book envisions the new forms of work, education and human interaction that must emerge in the next American Revolution. Born to Chinese immigrant parents in 1915, Dr. Grace Lee Boggs is an activist, writer and speaker whose political involvements encompass the major U.S. social movements of past 70 years. Scott Kurashige is a professor at the University of Michiganâs department of American Culture.
