“When does red become a colur?” This question is ridiculous as asked. It is clear to us that red is a subset of a colour, and red must have been a colour way before becoming red. And yet we hear “When does a human become sentient?” when somebody attempts to justify abortion.

Apart from that stupid argument there is really little rationality behind the pro‐abortion side of the debate.
