Blackwell Briggs has tried to take on The Pirate Bay, but of course failed horribly (not even bothering to check the information that they had on the technology employed by TPB). Here i read out loud the email exchange between the legal department of Blackwell Briggs and The Pirate Bay. At the end i make some recommendations as to other technology that may be useful to distribute censored material.
It is good to see people standing up to the large corporations and the government and supporting the free exchange of information. I had my disagreements with the way TPB was doing things in the past, but now i see that they are still more about freedom than about running ads and such on the site.
The Pirate Bay Blackwell Briggs legal department (legal@blackwellbriggs.com)
public domain (my reading) the e-mail itself is distributed because TPB has no right to demand intellectual property rights on things
