Finance writer and columnist Dave Lindorff talks about behind the scenes intrigue, quiet record sell-offs and the projections of the TARP Inspector General that the bail-outs will have little if any effect.
Dave Lindorff, thiscantbehappening.net; Max Keiser, maxkeiser.com; Rabble Rouser Bottom Up Radio Network B.U.R.N.

First Hour: Award-winning investigative reporter Dave Lindorff. He's been working as a journalist for 36 years. A regular columnist for CounterPunch, he also writes frequently for Extra! and Salon magazine, as well as for Businessweek, The Nation and Treasury&Risk Magazine.

A two-time Fulbright Scholar (Shanghai, China and Kaohsiung, Taiwan), he is a 1975 graduate of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, and received a B.A. in Chinese in 1972 from Wesleyan University. In October 2004, he was awarded a coveted "Most Censored Story of 2003" award by Project Censored (for his Oct. 16, 2003 story in Salon about the Pentagon's quiet efforts to gear up the machinery for a return to the draft). A founding member of the National Writers Union, and a member of the steering committee of the NWU Philadelphia local, for nine years. He works regularly at This Can't Be Happening!

Second hour: Rabble Rouser calls in and discusses audio clips he phoned in while attending the G20 Pittsburgh, Pa. Protests. A Max Keiser clip from his most recent appearance on France 24 News commenting on the Polanski controversy averts it all to the grotesque amorality of U. S. imperialism. Hour finishes off with more audio clips from the G20 protests operating under the "police state." B.U.R.N. affiliated material from the "bottom up radio network."
