Both Monbiot and the Centre for Alternative Technology have worked out what we need to do to avoid the worst of the climate chaos now staring us down. Between them they have shown that as long as we have the political will, the UK can play its part and lead the way in avoiding dangerous levels of climate change. The only question that remains now, is how can we galvanise the political will to make it happen? which is the question the Camp for Climate Action was designed to solve.
The Ways To Two Degrees debate was one of the highlights of this years camp for climate action. The Camp had three aims: to demonstrate sustainable living in action; to provide an extensive and varied programme of worshops relating to climate change; and to take direct action against the root causes of climate change.
The recording of the debate was made by Indymedia and has been edited for broadcast by Climate Radio.
