Peta teams on the ground in New Orleans report that there remains an immediate need for committed, experienced volunteers to aid in animal care efforts there. Individuals or groups are needed to help care for, feed, and walk the thousands of animals who have been rescued. There is a dire need for reliable volunteers. Vans or large vehicles equipped with air-conditioning (and those who can drive them) for the temporary holding and transport of rescued animals are also needed.
