Press conference/action in front of Cook County Stroger Hospital which is dealing with the second highest number of Covid -19 infected nurses in the nation. Approximately a dozen National Nurses United nurses were masked and social distancing on scene, displaying a banner with pictures of home made protective gear; speakers explain. They were joined by two transit union workers who daily bring patients to and from the hospital, exposing themselves, families and riders to potential COVID-19 exposure due to hospital management's failure to follow CDC testing policy and provision of level appropriate protective equipment. A nurse states management tried to bully her into using sub standard protective gear that the doctors refuse to wear.
