This program was the 8th annual, and final (?), French themed set of music by DJs Sister Golden Haze and Lightning’s Girl on WRIR. The show has always preceded the VCU French Film Festival which is held here in Richmond every Spring, and it was started as a tribute to that event.

They’ve done this amazing show every year, for eight years now…. digging deep into the rare vinyl from francophone countries – especially, music from the 60s, 70s, and 80s.. and each time, I've learned so much, and been so inspired by their incredible combined collections of French music..

I am really grateful to both of them for doing these amazing programs every year - thank you Sister Golden Haze and Lightning's Girl!
