Recently, Truth and Justice Radio was privileged to meet and attend a talk by Dennis Kucinich, antiwar and justice activist, prominent 8-term Member of US Congress, and 2-time Democratic candidate for President. He spoke at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government on 2-24-2017.

Go to en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dennis_Kucinich and Kucinich.com to learn more about him, his thinking, his remarkable efforts and achievements, and how our friends the Democrats finally pushed him out of Congress by redistricting.

At this talk he spoke on U.S. wars, all of which are based on lies. He was among the very few who consistently voted No. He quoted the words of Smedley D. Butler, war hero, who famously said “war is a racket.” He observed that in this country, the penchant for war is thoroughly bipartisan. He explained the Deep State and its role, recounting its backhanded undermining and destruction of a successfully negotiated and signed peace agreement in Syria. He poured light on the foolish illogic of attacking Trump by bashing Russia and all people (including Trump) who confer with Russian officials or even Russian business owners.

Remarking on the nonsensical allegations of Russian interference in U.S. elections, Kucinich suggested that bona fide interference might even benefit all of us by attracting better candidates!

The main talk and Q&A session are both here, in separate MP3 files.
Tune in to Truth & Justice Radio (6-10am Sundays on WZBC 90.3 FM, wzbc.org). Learn more at TJR's humble website, truthandjusticeradio.org. It links to our detailed playlists and to archives of our exclusive special segment, This Week In Palestine.
