As of 12/4/2016 the servers are now in their new homes, the web server in Fremont and the archive server emma in Santa Cruz. Some of the pre-2004 archive programs are not yet online but will be soon. Your support is essential if the service is to continue, there are bandwidth bills to pay every month and failing disk drives to replace. Volunteers do the work, but disk drives and bandwidth are not free. Click on this bar to contribute, even a dollar helps.

Today the U.S. and its allies are entangled in wars both known and unknown throughout much of the world, including Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Libya and Pakistan. What have we learned in the years and wars since 9/11, and where do we go from here?

This episode features a short introductory talk by Donna Marsh O'Connor, who lost her pregnant 28 year-old daughter Vanessa on 9/11. Donna is a national spokesperson for September 11th Families for Peaceful Tomorrows.

The rest of the hour is a talk by ex-CIA analyst Ray McGovern. Ray served as a CIA analyst for 27 years, from JFK to George H. W. Bush, and from 1981 to 1985 briefed one-on-one to President Ronald Reagan’s five most senior national security advisers.

Donna Marsh O'Connor and Ray McGovern spoke at Binghamton University on September 9, 2016.
Producer/Host: Wilton Vought

This is a re-make of a previous (but recent) episode in the OVOC series, this time in podcast format, suitable for airing as-is on radio.

I plan to move primarily to podcast format from this point forward, and hope to produce a regular series for radio.

Please let me know if you add my show to your station's playlist. Thanks.
