Joe Jamison, a member of the US Peace Council, reports on the July delegation of US antiwar organizations to Syria.
Jamison is a retired union official, journalist and war resister.
He speaks to his observations that US, Saudi,Turkish, Israeli and European support for the foreign fighters who are attacking the Syrian government, which has called on Russia for help, has destroyed the possibility of a political solution.
During the Q&A some passionate statements are made to support the "democratic and freedom loving opposition" fighting against Assad with military action. Yet based on the report back it seems they have joined in the unity government of Assad, in a collective effort to defend their country against the Imperialism of the United States and the Energy corporations who want to build a pipe line through Syria that would connect Israeli natural gas fields to Western Europe. http://www.globalresearch.ca/its-not-just-the-oil-the-middle-east-war-and-the-conquest-of-natural-gas-reserves/5307589?utm_campaign=magnet&utm_source=article_page&utm_medium=related_articles
Joe Jamison is introduced by Lee Artz, Professor of Media Studies, Purdue University-Calumet.
Loyola University Department of Sociology, Chicago ALBA Solidarity Committee, Anti-war Committee-Chicago
The Q&A starts about 0:30:00 and was picked up with the mic at the podium.

Constitutional Crisis leading to Nuclear War?
The truce that might have allowed civilians in Eastern Aleppo respite from the bombing attacks on the foreign terrorists holed up there, negotiated on behalf of the US and Russian presidents, was broken almost immediately by a US bombing attack on a Syrian military position, coordinated with a ground attack by foreign fighters on an airport, killing 60 Syrian soldiers.
Hillary Clinton and neocons like Robert Kagan of the Brookings Institution, are calling for a "no fly zone" which would mean shooting down Syrian and Russian aircraft. They are supported by some top Pentagon generals and the Secretary of Defense eager for the overthrow the Assad government, which seemed a certainty prior to Russian intervention at the request of the Syrian government. There is insubordination at the highest levels that undermined the Presidents peace effort, even risking a war with Russia.
Following the "accident" the Russians have stated that any foreign aircraft entering Syrian airspace will be seen as hostile and destroyed.
