Rasmea Yousef Odeh is a Palestinian woman and former United States citizen. She served as associate director at the Arab American Action Network in Chicago, Illinois. The removal of her citizenship and removal from the U.S. is the subject of a protracted struggle by activists. At trial she was prevented by the judge from speaking of her torture that produced a confession to the Israeli military, while the prosecutor was allowed to introduce her confession and military detention as evidence she lied on a US application.
Joe Iosbaker, a member of Rasma's defense committee speaks about the political repression of Palestinian solidarity activists, the role of Zionists prosecutors in the Justice Department and the stress of being smeared with accusations of "terrorism". He explains the connection to the FBI raid on his own house and a subpoena to testify before a grand jury about "material support to terrorists" as part of the governments attempt to suppress decent and political activism and its' connection to the persecution by the Justice Department of Rasma Odeh.
