The older archives (>10 years old) have been substantially recovered -- more than 23,800 files' worth -- and are now reachable through the search engine and via file download. Email here if you have any questions.
Your support is essential if the service is to continue, there are bandwidth bills to pay every month and failing disk drives to replace. Volunteers do the work, but disk drives and bandwidth are not free. We encourage you to contribute financially, even a dollar helps. Click here to donate.

We all know its true, we hate our jobs – wait a second, let me start again – we all know its true, we hate the jobs society has – wait, hmmmm, this is harder when you have limited space! Okay, one more time; we all have jobs (that’s good) and we hate them terribly (that’s even better), well some of us don’t hate the jobs we have, but that’s besides the point. Those jobs we have, which we hate, are ours by choice? Nope, by necessity! So if not by choice, why do we perform them? Because if we didn’t, life would become much harder (as if it isn’t hard now)! In this first of its kind CWB Podcast, dubbed a Special Comment, after the name Keith Olbermann used to give his political rants on Current-TV and MSNBC; I read a new booklet I am placing in the Public Domain asking the same question as above – Why do You Work. If you’d like to read the booklet, click the scribd link below, otherwise, listen closely as I take you through the process which forced its creation before doing my best to not butcher it!

Later this summer, around August or September, I would like to expand Class War Battlefield to include 10 to 20, 3-5 minute audio article/ commentary segments where readers/ writers independently record articles or commentaries written personally or by other persons. The segments can be poetic, musical, theatrical or spoken word, so long as they have a conscious-humanitarian, informative message to them. If you would like to contribute conscious music to the show I will likely include them independent of the 10-20 segments or if you’d like to provide a theatrical performance I would be open to expanding the time limit. Contact me if you’d like to partake in such an endeavor. Thank you.
