Dr. Arjun Makhijani is President of the Institute for Energy and Environmental Research in Takoma Park, Maryland. With a PhD specializing in nuclear fusion, Dr. Makhijani is an authority on energy issues. Since 1971 he has published numerous articles, reports and books on energy and environment including Carbon Free and Nuclear Free: A Roadmap for U.S. Energy Policy (2007).
