The House of Representatives recently voted to reauthorize the FISA Amendments Act, a law originally passed in 2008 that subjects Americans citizens to the government's vast warrantless wiretapping program. Most Americans don’t know that they’re international calls and emails are subject to this program. Even their domestic emails and phone calls can be picked up without a warrant from a judge. The law's proponents don’t seem to know this either.
