The discussion, led by Madison Attorney Fred Wade, begins with his review of Thom Hartmann's recently updated book, "Unequal Protection". Wade continues with comments on the Citizens United opinion written by Justice Kennedy and the dissent by Justice Stevens. Wade's talk is followed by a roundtable discussion which questioned the logic of the Citizens United decision, emphasized the threat posed by corporate personhood, and suggested ways of countering it.
